MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
At Church of Prayer, we believe church membership makes a difference. Membership is a covenant between the born again believer and the body of Christ, it is family. We are a community that desires to strengthen the unity of the believers in Christ, to help grow in discipleship, love and God's word. In a culture which emphasizes the individual, church membership points out how much we truly need each other to do “life together.”

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT
As Christians, Jesus lays a foundation for us in His Word; this foundation is necessary in our spiritual walk and our daily growth. Otherwise, we are apt to be moved by every wind of doctrine without the word of God as our foundation anchoring us in truth (Ephesians 4:14). Once we are equipped with this truth, we are able to strengthen our brethren through foundational teaching.
If you are interested in becoming a member there is a 12 week Doctrinal Studies Class. This class is held on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and is designed to establish the foundation of Church of Prayer and it's core beliefs.
